The minimum qualification for admission into PGDM (Dual Specialization) Program is Bachelor Degree in any discpline. For admission students can apply with CAT/XAT/MAT/C-MAT/JEE/Other National Level Test Score Cards. The candidates pursuing final year graduation and expecting their result by August 31, 2020 can also apply.
The placement office handles all aspects of campus placements for the graduating students at IMIS Bhubaneswar. The office is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of the placement process. Arrangement for PrePlacement Talks, interviews, Group Discussions etc. are all handled by the staff at the office. The following facilities are made available for the various activities:

The placement policies and other related activities are handled by Dean ? Corporate Relations. The process of coordinating with companies for recruitment is handled by the Placement Office which consists of three Corporate Relations Officers. The companies are encouraged to contact Placement Cell for initial discussions and Placement Office for confirming all schedules and official communication.
The Placement Office is the formal point of contact for placements at IMIS.
After receiving the communication about the offer details from the recruiting organization, the CVs of all the willing students are forwarded to the organization for reference and or any further screening.
Recruiting organizations visit the campus on the decided dates and conduct a PrePlacement Talk (PPT) communicating the relevant details about the company, the career, the offer the selection process. Then the companyorganization conducts tests andor interviews according to their recruitment process.
The list of finally selected students is required to be furnished by the companyorganization on the date of final interview.
Students once get the offer, may not be allowed to appear for other interviews as per the institute placement policy.
Offer letters of selected students must be sent in duplicate to the Training Placement Office of IMIS, Bhubaneswar.
The library has a rich collection of academic books, reference manuals, Journals, periodicals, etc., and is regularly replenished. It caters to the entire demand of students, consultants, research scholars and members of the IMIS Professional Association. The elibrary has been set up within the Library reading hall. Computers with multimedia and headphone are available to view the video CDs.Adequate number of computers are available with the institute to cover the academic organizational needs.
The cable modem Internet facility is available and it is kept open for the students even beyond the academic hours to encourage them in acquiring advanced skills and knowledge in IT through the Internet. The computers are also available in the Hostel for students use. The lab is equipped to carry out research consultancy assignments. Each student is given with an email id as "nameimis.ac.in" on the day of joining, and can avail email facility for ever.The classrooms are airconditioned with a comfort sitting arrangement. The students have easy approach to the instructor and their friends for participation. The classrooms are fitted with audio systems, LCD, OHP and other modern teaching

Almost every student from outstation can avail such accommodation. But in the event of more applicants the preference will be given to those who come from the outside states. The residential arrangements are under the direct supervision of the Superintendent who is assisted by the Asst. Superintendent, to ensure smooth management. The students are required to abide by the rules of the hostel to maintain discipline at all times.
